I was nervous and excited that I could send my daughter away to a normal camp where she could feel safe with eating gluten free. She has always felt different and didn’t always like feeling excluded but at Camp Kanata she had the time of her life.

We are excited to announce the return of the Generation GF Teen Summit to Orlando, FL in 2021! The site will be the Hilton Disney Springs and event dates are from July 14th-17th.
The goal of the Generation GF Teen Summit is to provide the platform and resources for our gluten-free teens and young adults to discuss topics that are relevant to them, as they go through the every day challenges of being a teenager following a restricted diet.
Generation GF, along with summer camp locations across the United States, is happy to provide the opportunity for gluten-free kids and teens to have a place to go for a week during the summer and have fun just being a kid. The camp environment builds camaraderie, allowing our members of Generation GF to be part of a group and not feel isolated due to their dietary needs.

After my son was diagnosed with celiac disease, I thought it was important for him to meet other celiac kids his age. He enjoyed a week of good food, time in nature, and male bonding at Camp Sealth. We are grateful to GIG for the generous scholarship, and for providing an opportunity that helped my son and me feel more confident that he could be safe and happy living gluten-free in a gluten world.

GIG holds a special place in my heart to give me the opportunity to experience life as a normal summer camp child.
