This year’s Teen Summit will be an amazing opportunity to get hands-on with gluten-free cooking.  

We’re excited to announce this exclusive, immersive experience for gluten-free teens (and their parents) this summer – 2 days of instruction and hands-on learning in a professional kitchen where they will gain specialized cooking skills for gluten-free meal preparation. Afternoons will include educational sessions on topics important to teens as they mature.

Who Can Attend? 

Gluten-free teens ages 13-18 and their parents. There is a strict limit of 50 teens attending.

What are the covid-related requirements? 

The Culinary Institute of America enforces a mandatory requirement that masks be worn at all times indoors, regardless of vaccination status, unless you are actively eating and drinking. These guidelines are in place for staff and students as well as our public guests. Policy is subject to change.

GIG is excited to offer six (6) $500 scholarships to our Gluten-Free Teen Chef Camp. Scholarships awarded will be applied to defray the cost of registration fees. ALL SCHOLARSHIP REQUESTS DUE May 15, 2022. Award recipients will receive a determination by May 30, 2022. Scholarship requests are now closed.

The cost of this exclusive 2-day event is $950 per teen for all sessions; $150 per parent to attend afternoon sessions.

Available seats at the Teen Summit GF Chef Camp are limited. As a courtesy to coordinators and fellow attendees, please read the cancellation policy and agreement below carefully: 

Cancellations 90 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations within 45-89 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 45 days prior to the event will not be refunded. I understand that I am holding a spot so reservations for this event cannot be refunded when requested less than 45 days prior to the event. If I am unable to attend, I understand that I can transfer to a friend.
