Hello Generation GF magazine readers,

Happy winter! It’s the busiest time of the year, but also the most beautiful. At least it is here in the desert where I live. We don’t see snow here, but it’s just chilly enough to put on a cozy sweatshirt and make hot cocoa! I know many of you are seeing chilly temperatures, so keep warm and bundled up and read this issue for some recipes using warming spices of the season like ginger and cinnamon. 

In this issue, we’re giving you a few easy recipes that you can make around the winter season. But these recipes are so good that you’ll want to make them all year long. Don’t miss our hot cocoa bomb tutorial! It’s one of my favorite things to make this time of year. 

We also wanted to talk to you about being plant-based and gluten-free. Many people your age are exploring diets like vegetarian and vegan. As you know, it’s already hard enough to give up gluten – can you really give up anything else in your diet? Well, you’ll have to read the article, but it’s easier than you think! If you’ve ever wondered about being plant-based, this is the issue for you!
