It’s Celiac Awareness Month!

Celiac disease is a genetic autoimmune disease where consuming gluten results in a damaging, inflammatory autoimmune reaction that affects the intestine and virtually any other part of the body. Celiac Disease affects 1 in 100 people worldwide – yet approximately 50% do not know they have this autoimmune disease. Help us spread awareness during Celiac Awareness Month!

Together, Let’s Cut Costs!

At GIG, our mission is to make life easier for everyone living gluten-free! While we do this every day through support, education, and our food safety certification and validation – we know that there is so much more to do! In December, we surveyed the gluten-free community and found that 79% of responders felt that the cost of gluten-free food is the biggest challenge they are facing.

To further our mission, we are launching a Cutting Costs program that helps members of the gluten-free community afford gluten-free food. For more information on Cutting Costs, listen to the Celiac Project podcast and see the press release about this new program coming soon!

Will you help us launch this new program by making a donation today? Every little bit helps.

Your Celiac Disease Awareness Month donation will help us address the challenge of food insecurity within the gluten-free community.
