Gluten-Free Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. fresh strawberries (washed and completely dried)
- 8 oz gluten-free chocolate
- Add a drizzle of white chocolate for a decorative touch.
Optional Toppings:
- Crushed Gluten-free nuts
- shredded coconut
- sprinkles
Instructions:
- Prepare the Strawberries:
Wash and pat the strawberries dry. Make sure they’re completely dry, as moisture can prevent the chocolate from sticking. - Melt the Chocolate:
- Use a microwave: Heat the chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.
- Use a double boiler: Place a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water and stir until melted.
- Dip the Strawberries:
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat evenly. Let excess chocolate drip off. - Add Toppings (Optional):
Roll the chocolate-dipped strawberries in your choice of toppings while the chocolate is still wet. - Let Them Set:
Place the strawberries on a parchment-lined tray and let them sit at room temperature or in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.
