Laura was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2016 and is thrilled to be part of the GIG team where she can directly help the gluten-free community. Before joining GIG, she spent over five years doing event planning, marketing and outreach for several professional associations in the transportation industry. Laura received her B.A. from Macalester College and her Master’s from the University of Minnesota, both in the Twin Cities. Outside of work she enjoys travel, GF cooking and baking, and hanging out with her rescue dog, a miniature poodle mix named Velvet.
