More Gluten-Free Trendy Flavors: 123 Food and Drink Products Receive Certification from Gluten Intolerance Group’s GFCO Program in September and October

AUBURN, Wash. (11/2019)—During this fall, a wide variety of snacks, proteins and drink mixes with trendy flavors, from blood orange to pumpkin spice, were officially certified as gluten-free by the Gluten Intolerance Group’s Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO). From September through October, GFCO certified 123 products from 15 brands. More leading food manufacturers continue to commit to providing safe foods for those following a gluten-free diet through offering high-quality, reliable gluten-free products. GFCO’s stringent review process includes plant audits, equipment testing, risk assessment and product testing in the plant and at the point of purchase.

The following products were certified by GFCO:

  • BeReal—6 products certified, including Cranberry Chocolate Chip and Holiday Gingerbread
  • Beyond the Equator—5 products certified, including 5 Seed Butter Chocolate and 5 Seed Butter Cinnamon Vanilla
  • Bixby & Co.—17 products certified, including Dark Chocolate Almond Coconut Sea Salt and To The Nines Chocolate Bar
  • De Guste—39 products certified, including Organic Canihua Instant Powder and Organic Quinoa Flour
  • Farm to Muscle—6 products certified, including Organic Egg White Protein Chocolate and Organic Whey Isolate Vanilla
  • FreeYumm—9 products certified, including Crunchy Bites Raspberry and Ginger Cookie
  • Hydrant—9 products certified, including Blood Orange Optimal Hydration Mix and Grapefruit Optimal Hydration Mix
  • La Vida Vegan—3 products certified, including La Vida Vegan Dark Chocolate Spread and La Vida Vegan Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
  • Lopaus Point—5 products certified, including Banana Flax Waffle and Pumpkin Spice Waffle
