Social Media Strategy & Content
Oversee all of GIG’s current social media accounts (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn) for consumer and B2B accounts, expanding the reach and engagement of the GF lifestyle. Create and maintain the GIG social media calendar for short and long-term efforts to ensure the clarity of the GIG message, ensuring the content for social channels are aligned with the broader marketing calendar and organizational goals. Develop relationships with social influencers and participate in relevant online events. Leverage social media analytics to optimize GIG campaigns, and provide clear recommendations on how to further grow engagement and increase leads via social media. Maintain a cutting-edge awareness of social media trends, making continual suggestions for improvement. Develop, manage and measure social media campaigns (Twitter chats, promoted posts/tweets, etc.). Ongoing collaboration with Communications Manager to develop content distribution strategies. Assist in generating compelling content topics based on current trends.
Collaborate with Communications Manager & Marketing Manager to develop quarterly content plans. Create content to be utilized on organization’s blog and other social media channels. Manage content across all social channels to drive brand awareness, website traffic and conversions. Develop video content for social channels and website. Maintenance of website blog, RSS feeds, and additional content updates as necessary. Conduct social listening on GIG and its related programs and services. Responsible for 5-10 hours per week of website content editing & ongoing revisions. Maintain physical and electronic communication files. Provides outstanding Customer service (answering phones, responding to messages and comments, answering general questions, etc.). Moderate Facebook groups.
