GIG follows the Principles for Good Governance and Ethical Practice: A Guide for Charities and Foundations.  GIG believes transparency is important to demonstrating ethical practices and assuring consumer confidence in our programs and operations.

In the interest of public disclosure GIG will periodically post IRS tax filings, annual reports and program/project reports on our website.

GIG files a 990 report with the IRS annually which includes the activity and financial reporting for all GIG Branches.  GIG is audited annually by an external, independent certified auditor. The audit includes a review of GIG’s finances and programs (including all Branches).

GIG is a federally recognized 501c3 non-for-profit organization, incorporated and maintains a business presence in WA State.  GIG complies with local, state and federal regulations related to doing business as a non-profit organization.  In states where GIG maintains a Branch location, GIG has applied for and/or maintains charitable status registration.
